Real history
The Bird Cage Theatre opened on December 26, 1881. Wikipedia says it closed in 1892 after Tombstone's silver mines shut, and was leased as a coffee shop from 1934 (Wikipedia).
Sources differ: the same Wikipedia article also says it operated intermittently until 1894 (Wikipedia).
Ghost stories
These are reported legends, not verified events. The creepiness score (1–5) is Spook Atlas's own editorial rating, not a measurement.
Wikipedia says Ghost Hunters filmed at the theater in 2006 and Ghost Adventures in 2009 and 2015. Source: Wikipedia.
The theater's website describes a narrow corridor behind the stage tied to recurring sightings of a "lady in white", and says its nightly ghost tours center on the Black Moriah hearse. Source: Bird Cage Theatre site.
