Approximate area. The map shows only a rough area for this place, not an exact location.

Real history

A mostly Chinese Central Pacific work crew reached the site on April 12, 1869. Kelton became the start of a stage route to Boise; Wikipedia says that in the 1870s and early 1880s the Wells Fargo stage line between Kelton and mines in Idaho and Montana was robbed more often than any other in the Old West, a claim this site has not checked elsewhere (Wikipedia).

The Lucin Cutoff left it off the main line in the 1900s, the strongest earthquake in Utah history damaged it in 1934, and it ended when the rails were removed during World War II (Wikipedia).
