No trespassing, no safety or legal advice

Spook Atlas does not encourage trespassing. Entering private, closed or condemned property can be illegal and dangerous. Nothing on this site is a statement that a place is safe or legal to visit, and we do not give directions or tips on getting in. You are responsible for your own safety and for following the law and posted rules.

Legends are folklore

Ghost stories are reported claims, presented with their sources, not statements of fact. Creepiness ratings are our own opinion of a story.

Pages link to outside sources we do not control. Photos are public domain or openly licensed and credited on each page; the credited license applies to each photo.
