Real history

Mystic's post office opened in 1895. As mining declined, the Frink Sawmill became the main employer; the Crouch Line was dismantled in 1947 and the mill closed in 1952, while the Burlington line ran until November 1983 and is now part of the George S. Mickelson Trail. The McCahan Memorial Chapel, built in 1930 and closed in 1966, still stands (Wikipedia).
