Ghost stories
These are reported legends, not verified events. The creepiness score (1–5) is Spook Atlas's own editorial rating, not a measurement.
The Baker City Herald (Oct. 31, 2007) interviewed former dredge workers. They said that when the power failed at night, the junior man left aboard "waited for Joe Bush," the dredge ghost. One said the story "started as a joke," spread by a co-worker who blamed anything that went wrong on Joe Bush. Source: Baker City Herald, 2007.
