Ghost stories
These are reported legends, not verified events. The creepiness score (1–5) is Spook Atlas's own editorial rating, not a measurement.
The Denver Gazette reported in 2025 that historian and tour guide Matthew Webb, at the hotel 18 years, heard a distinct whistle near the 10th floor with no one there; a longtime coworker called it the "prankster ghost." The paper also described static-only calls to the switchboard from Suite 904, once the home of socialite Louise Crawford Hill, and, citing the hotel, a sound system in the Churchill bar switching on by itself.
