Real history

Ground was broken on November 22, 1911, the cornerstone was laid on May 9, 1912, and the home was completed in 1913, opening in spring 1914 and dedicated on June 1, 1914 (National Register nomination). KSMU gives 1911, the groundbreaking year.

It was listed on the National Register on October 7, 2009 (Wikipedia).
